Her name has become synonymous with romance novels (129 books and more than 100 of which are love stories) and most lately Louboutin's (she reportedly owns more than 6000 pairs of red soles). As a matter of fact, Danielle Steel who has mentioned the fashion industry several times before through her work is now ready to launch 'First Sight' portraying the encounter of Timmie and Jean-Charles and their tumultuous relationship. She was quoted saying "It was fun to write about and expose some of the nuts and bolts of the business, so people could learn about it [...] particularly now that I see it more vividly and in greater detail through my daughters' eyes". Indeed, three of her five daughters work in fashion as stylists and design consultants, they probably followed the footsteps of their mother who attended the world-renowed Parsons The New School for Design. Nowadays, she regrets the radical changes of major couture houses or the departure of genius designers having collected amazing work of art throughout the years.
